July 2025 is a huge turning point. Uranus enters Gemini and a new revolution is afoot...

July is a major turning point in 2025, as we have Uranus’ ingress into Gemini - an event we haven’t seen since the 1940s that will mark the beginning of a new era.

And we have two proud and majestic lunations - a Capricorn Full Moon and a Leo New Moon, plus Mercury Retrograde in Leo. Time to have a major rethink! So without further ado, here are July’s key astrology aspects.

BIG NEWS: Uranus enters Gemini July 7th!

On July 7th Uranus enters Gemini, where he hasn’t been since 1941-1949.

This is a transport and communications revolution! Things are about to gather insane speed and it’s time to get moving. We must think fast on our feet and adapt to rapidly changing circumstances.

Flexibility and fluidity are key. Gemini is Mercury’s sign so expect rapid and exciting developments in all things Mercury now and until 2033 - communications, commerce, trade, transport, networks / grids, schooling, teaching, writing, and everything to do with the mind, connectivity and the spoken and written word. All these life arenas are about to be revolutionised over the next seven to eight years in a whirlwind of progress and commotion.

There is a new buzz in town with Uranus in Gemini. And it might initially frazzle our nervous system. Still, Uranus in Gemini is far more comfortable and intellectually stimulating than was Uranus in Taurus, where he has been or the past seven years since 2018.

In Taurus, Uranus brought change where we least want it - to all the fixed reference points in our lives, such as money, food, energy, security, shaking up areas we consider foundational, including generating huge instability in the financial system. Uranus will go back into Taurus for five months to finish this destabilisation process of our currencies and the global financial system - plus anything else we used to consider solid - from November 2025 to April 2026.

And then we’re off - literally and metaphorically - for the most exciting seven years yet to come, 2026-2033, with Uranus firmly in Gemini.

Big news! This is the day that Uranus enters Gemini kicking off a whole new era. Watch out for the first signs of new situations hatching - subtle as they may be. A day to talk money and dig deep into those pockets. Radically new ideas begin to make themselves felt. New technologies feel tantalising in their promise. The future is being born.

Bear in mind Uranus is at the very first critical degree of Gemini all of July! So there are tons of new ideas exploding on the scene, tons of new data coming to light, and it’s all rather fast, leaving the mind and nerves frazzled with the excitement and the unfamiliarity of it all. Do not fret.

Take this time to play around with new ideas, rehearse them, and flip them on their head now and until November. You’ll have plenty of time to run with them from April next year.

Thursday July 10th

The Full Moon takes place at 18:48’ degrees of Capricorn. Capricorn is a proud, worldly and hardworking sign that handles responsibility and demands respect. The full moon brings heightened emotions and a sense of culmination or clarity with matters of considerable gravity. The penny now drops - especially when it comes to how to structure your life moving forward. An opportunity to draw from the known and move toward the unknown with greater ease. Friday July 18th

* Mercury Stations Retrograde in Leo 04:45 UT

* Mercury sextiles Venus 14:37 UT

A journey of reflection and recollection now begins until August 11th. A data overload has been building up for a while (throughout July since Mercury entered his retrograde shadow) and it’s time for a review of the situation.

Expect tension and nervousness leading up to Friday the 18th. This culminates in a heightened day of meetings and communications as news and information comes to light to make you rethink your approach. Friday could nonetheless be very pleasant, highlighting key values and preferences.

Time to rethink the bigger picture to make space for more fun and creativity.

Mercury goes direct August 11th but the fresh creative ideas now being considered will preoccupy our minds all the way to August 25th, when Mercury exits his retrograde shadow. Themes activated last November-December and April-May, when Mars went retrograde and then direct in the same zodiacal degrees could also be revisited.

A dynamic, ‘karmic’ moment (i.e. when results of things already set in motion now play out).
