With Jupiter in Cancer square Saturn-Neptune in Aries, it’s time to move from words to action and give birth to a new world!

The June 2025 Astrology Weather Forecast
June is a big month! We’re already half way through June and the biggest news is that Jupiter entered Cancer this month, on June 9th, the sign of his exaltation. And what does it mean when Jupiter is exalted? It means abundance, protection, and expansion of every kind. And as befits the sign of Cancer, the focus is especially on what nurtures us, what makes us feel safe and supported, the things, people and places that truly physically, spiritually and emotionally sustain us. Another big theme this month is Chiron and Eris sailing very close this month in Aries, urging us all to follow a more authentic path.
Also in Aries we find Saturn and Neptune, two giants heading ever more closely toward their conjunction as we head to February 2026.
Saturn and Neptune are about to build a brand new world, both in government structure and in the culture and ideology that underpins it.
As we speak, with Jupiter square Saturn-Neptune we’re experiencing the birthing pains of a new world - beautifully aligned with the Cancer Solstice, the quintessential sign of the womb. All this together makes for an incredible month of June, heading to an even more incredible July thanks to Uranus. Let’s have a closer look at June and the monthly lunar cycle that brings it into sharp relief with two Jovial lunations, a Full Moon in Sagittarius (just past), and an incredibly generative New Moon in Cancer conjunct newly minted Jupiter. Let's check out the June astrology forecast.
Gemini Season until June 20th
May 20th to June 20th is Gemini season - springtime, when everything comes to life. There’s many colours and sounds, people eager to step out and connect, and lots of small things buzzing around, cross-pollinating the world. This is a time of great commotion. Happy Birthday Gemini!
Venus in Taurus June 6th
By June 6th we have Venus enter Taurus, her sign of rulership. This adds to the pleasures of spring, allowing us to truly indulge in our senses. Taurus knows full well that our five senses aren’t simply there to decode reality but also to enjoy it - and does so to the max. Venus will stay in Taurus until July 4th (when she conjuncts Uranus in Taurus at the final and critical degree - a crazy day). Meanwhile, let’s make the most of it…
Chiron Conjunct Eris May-October
Chiron is still in conjunction to Eris and this is a major influence of 2025, pushing for greater authenticity. It can be a pretty raw energy, angry, reactive, and cares nothing for pretence. These two bodies are not part of the classical planets. Chiron is a centaur (part comet part asteroid) with an irregular orbit that crosses that of Saturn; and Eris is a large trans-Neptunian dwarf planet in the Kuiper Belt, certainly big enough to be counted, on a par with Pluto, but much further out.
These two mavericks can’t stand any kind of hypocritical conformity, exclusion, scapegoating or injustice.
They meet twice this year (a once in half a century event), once in May and once in October, ensuring that nothing but staying true to our own authentic path will do in 2025.
Part and parcel of this journey is the healing of old and festering wounds - especially around individual agency and sovereignty, and reintegrating anything vilified, scapegoated or excluded.
We could see significant rage against the system now, vulnerabilities revealed, and massive disruptive behaviour. With Jupiter also magnifying this influence, an alternative path opens up to us this year, especially making its presence felt this June.
Venus is the first to say hello to this uncompromising combo on June 1st- 5th, a raw moment eliminating false choices and realigning us with our true values and preferences. By June 8th it’s Mercury’s turn to do the same, sextile Chiron-Eris and conjunct Jupiter in the dregs of Gemini. There’s tons of movement and commotion on the weekend 7th-8th (as we saw!), a kind of madness filled with travel, people and ideas, with everything proceeding at a manic pace. Events could be weird, unusual and deeply inspiring. There are new alternatives opening up, greater open-mindedness, curiosity, and illuminating discussions. These are all entry points into greater personal authenticity and directness.
Mercury in Cancer June 8th
On June 8th Mercury enters Cancer announcing the imminent arrival of Jupiter in Cancer on the 9th. And now a distinctive new energy is afoot! Communications become deeply personal from here on in and all the way until Jun 26th. Esoteric talks and studies thrive.
Jupiter in Cancer June 9th
With Mercury having made the proper introductions, Jupiter enters Cancer on June 9th, after eleven years of absence from this sign. Cancer is Jupiter’s sign of exaltation, allowing him to shower us with goodies for a whole year until June 30th 2026. What’s more, this June shift comes as part of a bigger package of seismic changes that are terraforming our world. It all started with Pluto entering Aquarius in 2023-24, followed by long months of back to back eclipses and retrogrades, then Neptune entered Aries on March 30th and Saturn followed suit on May 25th. We now have Jupiter entering Cancer and, the finale, Uranus changing signs into Gemini on July 7th. The whole shebang won’t be completed until Spring 2026, when all these new position will be stabilised and ratified.
That is a lot of shifting goalposts for anyone to process and such a short period of time and we’re still in the midst of it.
Still, Jupiter in Cancer is a welcome vibe - protective, fertile and abundant - here to nurture us and help us birth a new reality and a brand new consciousness.
Jupiter in Cancer is very much about tending to our roots, finding physical nourishment in our home, emotional nourishment in our people, mental nourishment in our traditions, and spiritual nourishment direct from the source.
This is a highly creative, generative energy, with Jupiter’s double square to Saturn and Neptune on June 15th and 19th respectively, signifying the growing pains, hopes and wishes that naturally accompany such a birth. Both of June’s lunations highlight this exalted Jupiter, with the Sagittarius Full Moon on June 11th in Jupiter’s sign and the Cancer New Moon of June 25th conjunct Jupiter. Time to plant the most abundant seeds for the year ahead.
Sagittarius Full Moon June 11th
June 11th sees a Sagittarius Full Moon (at 07:43 GMT/UT) at the 21st Sagittarius degree. With its ruler Jupiter exalted in Cancer, this is an abundant Full Moon, bringing good news, riches and some greater ease after all the recent craziness. This Full Moon stands at the half-way point between the Spring and Autumn eclipses, with the Sun and Moon square the Lunar Nodes, or eclipsed points. We’re at a crossroads, a choice point, a transition between past and future. We’re still mid-race with many more changes yet to come and we don’t yet have any idea of how anything will pan out. Still, this June Full Moon does a moment’s respite and hope.
That’s because this Sagittarius Full Moon forms a beautiful grand fire trine (a triangle spanning all three fire signs), with Mars in Leo and Chiron-Eris in Aries.
This is a huge green light to move forward confidently, no matter how unbeaten the path, and follow our own authentic adventure. It’s a big ‘yes’ from the universe to the very thing that we may be unsure of because it’s so far out, so wild.
The cosmos says ‘yes’, do it, be yourself fearlessly and expect abundance. With Mercury sextile Venus too, we can expect pleasant conversations, diplomacy and beautiful connections to be made.
The Sabian Symbol for this Sagittarius Full Moon is “a child and a dog wearing borrowed eyeglasses.” Cool and funny, this emphasises the power of make-believe and learning by mimicry, even when the thing you’re after is far beyond your reach. You have to imagine it, experience it as real, and have fun with it before you see it in the world. The Sun is in playful Gemini in all this, as befits any Sagittarius Full Moon (diametrically across from the Moon). Gemini is the sign of play and silliness par excellence, and of learning through mimicry. This is how every living thing learns, making the world more hilarious in the process. And with Jupiter in full regalia in Cancer right now, growth and learning seem assured.
Jupiter squares Saturn-Neptune June 15th-19th
Anything that enters a cardinal sign these days - Cancer, Capricorn, Aries and Libra - immediately clashes with Saturn and Neptune at the early Aries degrees. And so it is with Jupiter, who squares that combo mid-month, starting with Saturn on the 15th and Neptune on the 19th.
Jupiter square Saturn June 15th
The Jupiter-Saturn square of June 15th is the third in a row that started back in August 2024 and came again last December. Only this June both Jupiter and Saturn have changed signs.
What used to be merely intellectual growing pains, so we can fit in our minds and psyches the enormity of where we stand right now, is fast becoming a real birthing pang of action.
It’s time to put everything we have learned into good effect to both nourish us and to help us forge a brand new path.
This is the opening square of Jupiter-Saturn, so while uncomfortable, it is a hugely productive and constructive time, where we are called to make an effort to push forward and learn from our mistakes. Look back to the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction that took place in December 2020 (mid-pandemic) for the little seeds that are now trying to grow into great big trees.
What fresh seeds did you plant in your own life back in December 2020? This June is the time to fight for them and meet the worldly challenges required to see them flourish.
This essentially comes down to expanding the structures of our lives in order to make room for more.
Jupiter square Neptune June 19th
The Jupiter-Neptune square of June 19th is also a waxing, increasing, fertile aspect. Only, here, we’re talking about the fertility of the spirit. This is a deeply yearning, idealistic, expansive combo - spiritually porous. The biggest danger is being unrealistic and ungrounded here leading to disappointment and learning to be a little more discerning. But this is highly mitigated by the presence of Saturn right now - what a bonus! It’s time to let our spirit take flight, to grow vaster and make room for as much of it all as it can.
Since Saturn and Neptune are walking hand in hand right now, we can combine idealism with realism, spirit with matter, and create something truly amazing on both the physical and spiritual dimensions.
Look to events of February 2022 in your life to detect the seeds of the currently waxing Jupiter-Neptune square and its expansive birthing pangs.
The Saturn-Neptune Conjunction of February 2026
Saturn and Neptune are sailing very close together in early Aries right now, super-active, and conjoining exactly in February 2026.
This conjunction is seeding a whole new governmental and socio-economic system with a matching brand-new set of ideals to take us through the next three decades.
We’re in the midst of constructing a brand new world. What’s it going to be like? The good news is that Aries is the sign of rebirth, pioneering progress, and awakening individuation. This puts the individual front and centre of all new developments.
Of course Aries is also a Mars-ruled sign of war, and we seem constantly on the brink these days. But it is worth bearing in mind that the previous conjunction in Capricorn in 1989 literally took down Capricorn things - such as government systems and solid structures - in the form of the entire eastern communist bloc and the Berlin Wall. Could it be that this one, in true Aries form, takes down the war machine or so called ‘military industrial complex’? One thing is certain:
The Saturn-Neptune in Aries combo is certainly demolishing our erstwhile heroes and urging us all to become the heroes in our own lives.
As we move from Pisces into Aries, it’s like we are waking up from a long dream. A deep haze. We’re still a bit groggy but we will soon get going. For not only are we exiting a legendary two (-plus) thousand year period of the Age of Pisces. But in we've also had Neptune in Pisces (its home-sign) since 2012 putting us all in an extra deep trance for the past decade or so. As we move away from Pisces, (both into the fabled Aquarian Age and and the Aries Saturn-Neptune conjunction), it’s time that we realise: there is no saviour. No one is coming to save us. It’s down to us. Time to get proactive.
Uranus square Mars June 15th
The weekend of June 14th-15th is especially powerful. Not only do we get the Jupiter-Saturn square, we also have Mars in Leo square Uranus in Taurus in the last, manic and critical degrees of their respective signs.
This makes for a very unusually restless and disruptive weekend. Time to break the mould, rebel, disrupt the status quo and expand our world.
Watch out for any compulsive behaviour as there is often a sense of urgency and desperation to the critical degrees of any sign. We’re at the June midpoint now, the 15th and the doldrums of change are starting to get pretty loud.
Mars in Virgo June 17th
Come June 17th Mars enters Virgo, after being bogged down in Cancer and Leo for over nine months (since last September). That’s over half a year we’ve had of battling over the same territory - back and forth, stuck, trying different approaches. What has been achieved? Virgo will sure carry out a thorough examination and make some executive decisions.
Mars in Virgo is the perfect executive, getting things done, meticulously moving things forward, and finding solutions to problems.
Also on the 17th, we have the Sun sextile Chiron and Eris, giving us another opportunity to step on a more authentic path. Mars stays in Virgo until August 7th, giving us all plenty of time to fiddle with things, resolve them, or if need be, disassemble them into bits and put them back together again. Time to get down to the nitty gritty and make some improvements!
Cancer Solstice June 21st
The Cancer Solstice arrives on June 21st at 02:42 GMT/UT, when the Sun enters Cancer. And the minute the Sun enters Cancer it’s heading toward that effulgence Jupiter square the Saturn-Neptune conjunction - a unique event!
And so this year’s Cancer Solstice is huge, unique, unlike any other - truly setting us on a brand new course, if we are brave enough to take it.
Mercury is very busy at this time, harmonising with the Lunar Nodes on the Solstice to spread the good news across the land. Mars is also nearby, sextile the Sun and Jupiter in Cancer, the whole thing kicking into action from June 21st and all the way to the Cancer New Moon and beyond!
Mars sextiles Jupiter on the 22nd, a day of great serendipity, then the Sun squares Saturn-Neptune on the 22nd-23rd, a day to take some serious practical yet inspired steps toward the future. The Sun conjuncts Jupiter on the 24th, and it's time to plant some honest seeds for a whole year’s worth of growth. Pluto winks at the combo, ensuring that transformation is guaranteed. Mercury gets in on the action on the 24th too, square Chiron and Eris, when we have to hear or speak the truth even if it’s unpleasant. Finally, the Sun sextiles Mars on the 26th, bringing an opportunity for leadership. We may not know where we are headed yet, but make a start we must, like a blade of grass pushing through soil in the dark.
Cancer New Moon June 25th
It’s amidst all this that we get a super-abundant, almost excessive Cancer New Moon on June 25th at the 5th Cancer degree at 11:31BST. The Sun and Moon are closely conjunct Jupiter now, sextile Mars and square Saturn-Neptune.
Time to set ourselves a new challenge - an ambitious, expansive, lucky fresh intention for the month and year ahead.
Jupiter brings hope and vision whilst Saturn brings challenge and hard work. So we have luck on our side but are also reminded that to be proud of something (and count it as an achievement), we want to work for it. Mars gives this Cancer New Moon the energy needed to get things going, whilst Neptune adds a nebulous, romantic or spiritual dimension to the whole thing. This makes the goal more hazy and diffuse, but also expands us into limitless possibility. This is a seminal lunation for 2025.
The Sabian Symbol of that Cancer New Moon is “at a railroad crossing, an automobile is wrecked by a train.” This rather unsettling image tells a cautionary tale. To ignore the rules is folly. Even if the driver escapes unscathed, the vehicle is trashed. While the possibilities are limitless and growth is assured, a healthy respect for common sense goes a long way here. There is also a sense of a reckoning; and learning from past mistakes. This lunation is like walking a tightrope, holding both a weight and a hot air balloon… Be uplifted, but stay centred and focused on the task at hand.
Mercury in Leo June 26th
The last week of June brings ample opportunity to connect the dots and put all these wonderful energies into motion. Mercury, who is super-fast these days enters Leo on June 26th (at 8:09pm) where he’ll soon begin slowing down, ready to turn retrograde in Leo on July 18th.
Mercury in Leo is a fun period, a time to discuss big ideas, do some creative thinking, and communicate with flair.
And we have plenty of time for fun before July 18th.Just before Mercury changes signs on June 26th, he sextiles Uranus in the final, mad and critical degree of Taurus - this could generate quite a bit of havoc in the markets, and in transport and communications but also ample opportunity for crazy, inspired ideas and encounters. We may also see a sense of urgency in money related announcements (eg CBDCs).
On the same day, the 26th, the Sun sextiles Mars and Venus harmonises with the Lunar Nodes - the perfect day to take conscious action and connect with just the right people and resources for ease and pleasure.
Mini Grand Trine June 26th-29th
Having kicked things into motion on the 26th, Mercury in Leo immediately trines Saturn and Neptune on the 27th and opposes Pluto on the 28th. This activates the mini grand trine that’s building up now and into 2027, signifying a mini renaissance for humanity.
Inspiring ideas flow now, with powerful meetings and conversations to match!
This is the first time since Saturn and Neptune entered Aries that we see energy flow more freely towards the new structures and ideologies emerging in our lives, giving us a better idea of where we are headed.
The Mercury opposition with Pluto on the 29th can be a little intense, presenting intellectual challenges. But it also hones the mind to penetrate deeper and have a real conversation.
Uranus in the Critical Taurus Degrees June 17th-July 7th
As incredible as June is in terms of astrological events, July is even more amazing. That’s because Uranus changes signs on July 7th, a once in seven years event. This is yet another big change in a long series of seismic changes since 2023, something we have not experienced for many decades now. What’s more, Uranus is about to enter Gemini, where he has not been since the latter part of WWII and beyond (1942-49), bringing amazing innovations and advancements in electronics, communications and transport. As we speak, however, Uranus enters the final and critical degree of Taurus.
And so June 17th - July 7th could be an extremely unstable time for markets, currencies, the earth - and literally anything we consider solid ground.
With Uranus crossing to and fro over the Taurus final critical degree in 2025 and Q1 of 2026 something big is about to go down in our financial system and with all our resources, food, and our beautiful Earth. The ground is about to get critically unstable… Watch this space.
