October is already well underway and it’s only a prelude compared to what’s building up in November. Here’s is a short update on what's going down for the October 2025 astrology and beyond...
October-November 2025 is a time of great transformation.
Be ready to ride some forceful currents over the next couple of months! Neptune conjunct Saturn in Pisces and they form a Grand Water Trine with Jupiter in Cancer and the personal planets in Scorpio from late October and into all of November 2025.
This is the kind of pattern that turns all the lights green and cranks up the gears for a super-fast flow of events. Everything will begin gathering momentum, get ready!
As preparation for an incredible November, October lends itself to an honest no-frills self-evaluation.
That's thanks to Jupiter square Chiron/Eris (a slow moving aspect that is exact on the 23rd).
The veneer is being lifted from most things for a good look at the raw, disowned, undigested realities underneath. This is no time to shy away from the truth.
Both the Aries Full Moon on the 7th and Libra New Moon of the 21st emphasise this process, exposing our vulnerabilities, picking at our wounds and bringing buried material to the light.
The key is to be able to enlarge our container enough to include all this raw, disowned material - to digest it and allow to reintegrate part of ourselves with ease.
Aries Full Moon, October 7th: Dare to Stand Alone
October 7th features an Aries Full Moon (at 15 degrees Aries) that calls for great courage and honesty. Time to make a heroic stand.
This Full Moon is a bit of a lone warrior. It pulls the Aries-Libra opposition into sharp relief. Self versus Other.
What is up to you? And where does your reach end? Dare to stand alone and let others make their own choices.

Pluto Direct & Venus in Libra, October 14th: Survival Calls for Strong Relationships!
The atmosphere intensifies mid-month again, on the 14th when Pluto, ruler of Scorpio, stations direct activating our survival instincts: fight or flight. Time and change wait for no (hu)man...
This is a regroup to survive moment!
Also on the 14th, Venus, ruler of Libra, enters Libra, its sign of domicile. This is welcome news.
Once in Libra, Venus forms a beautiful Grand Trine, 'Bow and Arrow' (i.e. Kite) configuration with Pluto, Uranus and Neptune.
Venus strengthens our capacity to form mutually beneficial relationships and agreements even in tough and uncertain times.
There are strong Libra and Scorpio energies all month long, emphasising transformative partnerships and financial deals.
Libra New Moon, October 21st: Negotiations Get Raw!
The most powerful days of the month arrive from October 20th onwards. We have a Libra New Moon on the 21st, (at 29 degrees Libra) and the crossover to Scorpio season on the 23rd, even as Mars and Mercury join forces to crank up the volume.
It all begins with a Mars-Mercury conjunction on the 20th which begins accelerating events. This is sure to create a stir!
Just then, the Libra New Moon of October 21st activates a stressful “grand cross” pattern in the sky.
This initiates a cycle of tricky negotiations over the next couple of weeks.
At this New Moon, the Sun and Moon square off against Jupiter opposite Pluto and oppose Chiron and Eris.
Choosing our next steps could demand we navigate an unsettling, uncomfortable space. Raw truths must be faced with civility now, calling for courage, a strong stomach and perhaps some financial risk too.

Scorpio Season, October 23rd: Strong Alchemical Currents
The good news?
Scorpio Season enters on the 23rd and, in true Scorpio fashion, everything begins to change.
Mars and Mercury are both in Scorpio by that point. And by the 24th-28th they generate an effortless flow, a kind of self-perpetuating circuit of forceful energy. These are the currents of transformation starting to set in!
Mars and Mercury are the first to activate the Grand Water Trine of October - November 2025, trining lucky Jupiter in Cancer and sturdy Saturn in Pisces.
October's end allows us us to tap into some lucky currents, a kind of serendipity with staying power.
Neptune in Pisces & Mercury in Retrograde Shadow, October 22nd: Wrap it Up!
By that point, Neptune is back in Pisces (on November 22nd) and Mercury is covering ground he will soon go back over. For Mercury is about to station retrograde (November 9th and until the 29th).
Time to begin wrapping up this shindig!
Much that transpires in late October will stay with us for good long a while, taking a while to finish, needing to be revisited again and again ‘til it's done.
And that’s as it should be. For November is a hugely transformative month!
Neptune is now back in his home sign of Pisces until 26 January 2026 - an event we won't ever experience again for the next century and a half.
Time to let the healing waters rush in and get ready for a new beginning in 2026!
