With a Pisces Blood Supermoon on the 7th and a Virgo Solar Eclipse on the 21st, the past is done and dusted. Time to celebrate it, adjust our dial, and look to the future. All Change!
It is September and the final round of the 2025 eclipses are here!
We have a Total Lunar Eclipse Blood Full Moon Supermoon on September 7th, and a Partial Solar Eclipse New Moon on September 21st. This latter is right on the brink of the Equinox (22nd) at the hinges of the world.
This month signals a major transition, as we let go of the past and prepare to take our first few steps into the unknown.
These eclipses are especially powerful as they connect with a major configuration in the sky which portents our entrance into a brand new era. They mark the definitive end of one way of life and the start of another. And it's time for us to say 'yes' to this process and commit to it fully.
With Pluto out of bounds too, the time has come to revolutionise our world.
Thankfully these eclipses align with a strong 'Full Mercury', bringing forth all the information we need to move forward. Mercury also symbolises paperwork and there are sure to be lots of procedural matters that need urgent attention.
Add to this Saturn dipping back into Pisces from September 1st, combing through the very dregs of the zodiac, and the time has come to clear the decks for a radical new beginning.
It's a New Season! Expect very intense emotions as you prepare to leave behind things, people and places you love. The great unknown is pulling us forward with dizzying speed.
We have six months to tie up loose ends and get ready! By next February-April 2026, ‘the future’ arrives for good.

Saturn in Pisces & Uranus Retrograde: Go Back Over
The first week of September is especially intense.
Not only are we heading to a Total Lunar Eclipse on the 7th, but on September 6th, Uranus stations retrograde in Gemini. This is sure to generate static in the air, an electrified excited atmosphere where you can cut the tension with a knife.
The astrology of September is different. The last three months gave us a taste of the future.
Now, it’s time to go back, internalise the rapid changes of the past couple of months and pack up our old self to clear the way for a new world in the making.
Also on September 1st, Saturn retrograde goes back into Pisces for a final combing of the ocean floor, ready to turn up lost treasure until February 14th 2026.
This releases us from any anxiety we may have felt about what lies ahead, replacing it instead with an urgent desire to get everything sorted in time for the ‘big push.
No more ‘rabbit in headlights’ mode. Time to make preparations.
By next February, at the Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Aries, it will be time to move forward with confidence. And by next April, with Uranus firmly in Gemini, we’ll be ready for new adventures.
Pluto Out of Bounds: Power to the People!
Another key influence starting this September is Pluto ‘out of bounds’ - an event that will be with us for the next decade so watch this space!
What does ‘out of bounds” mean? It means that Pluto, currently in Aquarius, is veering further south than the apparent path of the Sun, the ‘ecliptic’.
This gives Pluto free rein to effect a great global transformation over the next decade.
Pluto only veers out of bounds to the south once every quarter of a century.
This is a time of power to the people, of personal empowerment and revolution. The last time Pluto was out of bounds South of the ecliptic was during the French and American revolutions.

September 7th Total Lunar Eclipse Blood Supermoon in Pisces: The Call of The Beyond…
The first major event of September 2025 arrives on September 7th. We have a Total Lunar Eclipse Blood Moon Supermoon at 15 degrees of Pisces, reaching exactitude at 19:08 BST / 18:08 UT. This is a total eclipse, which means we will feel this one especially strongly. It arrives on the heels of Uranus stationing retrograde in Gemini, bringing a sense of liberation, surprises and rapid developments. And it is a supermoon too, raising the volume tot he max...
The eery intensity of this one will be deafening!
This is a full moon eclipse, signalling a powerful culmination of events.
It is a peak experience, a great emotional high, helping us close one door to the past and follow inspired new currents to distant shores.
Things become clear, realisations hit us full force and crucial information comes to light to help us choose a path.
Decisions made during eclipse time are made in full consciousness and tend to have a finality to them, setting our lives on a new course.
The September eclipses align perfectly with the Lunar Nodes in Pisces and Virgo. The good news is that this is a North Node eclipse, calling us toward growth.
In a nutshell, we could say that the North Node calls us towards our ‘destiny’, whereas the South Node fulfils our ‘fate’.
Less dramatically: the former puts us on a new trajectory and the latter completes an old series of events. Of courese the eclipses always come in pairs... This is why events often feel decisive during eclipse time.
This eclipse is in dreamy Pisces. And so it is calling us to connect powerfully with our loving, spiritual and imaginative capacities.
It’s reminding us to not cede the fight to the relentless march of technological devices; to not succumb to the machine but to feed and nurture what makes us human. Namely our capacity to turn inwards and connect directly with the source, each other, and our incredible imagination, compassion and spiritual insight.
This ties in beautifully with the Sabian Symbol of the eclipse at 16 degrees Pisces: In the quiet of his study a creative individual experiences a flow of inspiration.
Time to turn inward for inspiration and guidance. Since this is primarily a subjective experience, the challenge here is to battle the demons of self-doubt and reach into the source for true information, with an open mind.
The Sun is conjunct Mercury in Virgo at this eclipse bringing crucial facts to light. While priority must be given to our intuition at this time, it is still important to put our analytical cap on and examine all the facts.
All in all, this is a sobering cycle of eclipses that asks us to take a serious look at our lives and effect the necessary transformations.
This eclipse will especially touch anyone with planets and points in the middle of the mutable signs Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces.

The Blood Moon will be visible in the UK and Europe, rising in full eclipse mode in the South-Eastern horizon at around sunset, with a better view in more eastern geographies. The eclipse is fully visible in all of Asia, mid-to-Eastern Africa and Western Australia.
September 13th ‘Full Mercury’: Get All Your Ducks In A Row
Amid the eclipses, on September 13th (at 11:51 BST / 10:51 UT) we have a “Full Mercury”. This is when Mercury meets with the Sun from a place of strength, (i.e. whilst direct and on full speed). Plus, Mercury is in his own sign of Virgo.
This is a very strong day of clarity, information and transactions, landing right amid the eclipses.
September 2nd-18th sees Mercury in Virgo, its favourite sign (both by rulership and exaltation). This is an excellent period for analytical thinking and in-depth research, and for all kinds of admin, paperwork, and procedural matters. Time to get organised!
Mercury is travelling super-fast right now so expect lightning fast developments, news, trade and communications.
Come September 18th Mercury enters Libra to stay there until October 6th. With the Libra Equinox also arriving on the 22nd, this will be a time of negotiations and diplomacy, in an effort to achieve fairness, balance and win-win solutions.
September 16th Venus sextile Mars: Graceful Action
Mars and Venus travel in tandem for most of September, providing fair winds for our sails. They form a sextile mid-month, an aspect of grace and opportunity operative throughout the eclipses to easy our way!
September 21st Partial Solar Eclipse New Moon in Virgo: Last Call!
Eclipses always come in pairs. And on September 21st at 20:54 BST / 19:54 UT we have a Partial Solar Eclipse New Moon in Virgo.
The eclipse happens at the final, critical degree of Virgo - the sign of perfection and distillation of everything that’s gone before. Being in the final degree of the sign, there is a sense of urgency to this event.
This eclipse calls for absolute concentration to complete a pressing task.
The Sabian Symbol for the 30th Virgo degree reflects that beautifully:
Totally intent up on completing an immediate task a man is deaf to distraction and allurement.
There can be an obsessive drive for excellence now, a super busy time, and an urgent need to complete a mission or perfect a skill before we invite others into the equation.
Whatever it is we have to do, it’s time to block out all distraction, buckle down and get it done. Time to clear the decks. The clock is ticking.
This is a South Node eclipse, dealing with the past. Time to tackle unfinished business, and close an old cycle of development. Its presence in the very last degree of the sign underlines this quality of endings.
We now are given six months to wrap things up. For a solar eclipse is also a New Moon. And so it sets energy into motion. In the first instance, this get-go lasts two weeks. And ultimately, it culminates in six months's time (at the next Blood Moon in Virgo!).
Initiatives you now take will close old chapters of your life with a sense of finality by next March.
Use this time to tackle issues long overdue whose time has come, and that can no longer be shoved under the carpet. It’s now or never.
What's more, this solar eclipse is exactly opposite Saturn and Neptune, activating the powerful configuration in the sky that is changing our world and pushing us toward unknown shores by next year. This lends it considerably sobriety, calling for a strange mixture of faith and discipline.
This period is like that hand that stretches the bow to releases the arrow toward destinations unknown. This arrow will continue to travel over the next six months, hitting its target next March.
The key now is to maintain a sense of curious delight, alongside the mental concentration and physical balance required to take good aim… We want to hit bull’s eye!

The September 21st Solar Eclipse is only visible in Antarctica and partially in New Zealand.
This Solar Eclipse falls a day before the September Equinox and so colours the new season!
For it lands right on the hinges of the world - the world axis - one degree off the start of Libra. This gives it extra oomph, drawing the whole world, as it were, in its obsessive and singleminded focus.
AUTUMN EQUINOX: A NEW SEASON!
September 22nd Sun in Libra & Mars in Scorpio: Battle-Ready!
The September Equinox - Autumn Equinox in the Northern hemisphere - arrives on the 22nd at 19:19 BST / 18:19 UT. This is when the Sun enters Libra - happy birthday Libra!
Arriving on the heels of the solar eclipse, this Equinox marks a key turning point in the year. What is done is done. It is time to invite others into the fray.
This is a time of relationship, collaboration and interdependency to achieve balance. It is also a time when challengers can be brought out in the open and faced fair and square.
Venus, ruler of the Libra Equinox, spends most of the month in dramatic Leo, painting feelings and desires in bold and dramatic colours. That’s until September 19th, however, when Venus enters Virgo to stay there until mid-October. Venus in Virgo emphasises skilled endeavours, modesty of expression and attention to detail.
Venus and Mercury are in a special relationship, in each others’ signs, from September 19th on.
This creates a refined space for beautiful conversations and intelligent collaboration at the September Equinox.
Also on September 22nd, Mars enters Scorpio to stay there until November 4th.
Mars is powerful in Scorpio, its sign of rulership, giving us the wherewithal to achieve outstanding feats.
Up to that point, Mars spends most of the month in Libra, where he has to compromise, something Mars doesn’t like doing. Come the Equinox, however, fighter Mars is strong and ready to meet any challenge!
